The eleventh edition of the «Meeting on Fundamental Cosmology» will take place in Santander on 18-20 November 2025. This conference follows the same spirit as previous homonymous conferences held in Valencia 2013, Fuerteventura 2014, Santander 2015, Barcelona 2016, Teruel 2017, Granada 2018, Madrid 2019, Granada 2022, Tenerife 2023 and Sevilla 2024, and is organised by a network of Spanish groups working on cosmology and partially funded through the programme «Redes de investigación 2022» of the Spain’s Ministry of Science and Innovation. The goal of the conference is to gather world experts on different aspects of Physical Cosmology: observations, experiments and theory, including numerical simulations, instrumentation, astrophysics, gravitation and particle physics.
The conference will take place over three days, beginning in the morning of 18th November and concluding at around 16:30 on 20th November. The registration fee will be around 275 euros. The fee includes coffee breaks, lunches during the conference and the conference dinner.
Although any topics in cosmology are welcome, the program is structured around four main themes, which will address:
- Early Universe (inflation, CMB, intensity mapping and reionization)
- Large Scale Structure and Gravitational Lensing
- Theoretical Cosmology
- Multi-messenger Cosmology (dark energy, dark matter, neutrino astrophysics, gravitational waves)
A series of invited talks are planned, providing a general overview of the topics outlined above. These will be complemented by contributed presentations that showcase more focused or recent scientific findings. In particular, contributions from early-career scientists are especially encouraged. This meeting series has traditionally served as a platform for interaction between emerging and established researchers in the field, and we are committed to continuing this tradition.
