Code of Conduct

This meeting is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct throughout the event.

Expected Behavior

  • Treat everyone with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Communicate openly while being mindful of different perspectives.
  • Respect personal space and boundaries.
  • Follow the rules and instructions provided by the organizers and venue.
  • Support a harassment-free environment for all participants, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, or religion.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation in any form.
  • Inappropriate or suggestive comments, jokes, or imagery.
  • Disruption of talks, workshops, or other event activities.
  • Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
  • Aggressive behavior, threats, or verbal abuse.

Reporting and Enforcement
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it immediately to a member of the organizing team or contact by email with the organitation: mfc2025@ifca.unican.es . All complaints will be handled confidentially and promptly.

Consequences of Misconduct
Anyone found violating this Code of Conduct may be:

  • Warned formally by event staff
  • Asked to leave the event without a refund
  • Banned from future events
  • Reported to local authorities if necessary
